Thursday morning it is. The cellphone calls me at the standard wake up time and there is no need today for longish preparations and packing. No, looking forward to a relaxed and sunny day in the air, some lounging in between, superb views for snow covered mountains, a visit or more to the local bakery, a cup of tea or two in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, a trainride through the winterstyle countryside and maybe another flight. Enough for the day?. Do we need more?. Sure, maybe good company!.
07.45 am and the car likes to ride down for the "Flughafen Stuttgart". P0 is prepared but OLCI works not that really to my amusement.
No web check-in, mobile only and no chance to change seats after the first selection. The ticket with two legs on the confirmation is fixed by Opodo and the fare per leg is 65.00 Euro´s.
No seat change possible also at the SSK´s, ok, papers printed.
The plane is close to 15 minutes ahead to schedule inbound, ok so far and outbound from gate 316 looks like ok, too
Onwards for security, no time to wait no lounge used today.

This is D-ABGK, the A319 like on schedule, one of the machines without an individual name.
Leg no. 102 on type, well, logged before on TXL-STR. First in service with AB from 03.04.2008, spend some time with Niki in between. 7 planes on type are in the fleet and there are no incidents to show here

Cabin crew is all middle aged and all female.
One asian, not that large, nice.
One german, biz at it´s best.
One eastern european, not that large, slim, cute, long black ponytail, really nice.

Cockpit crew is the german "Kapitän" with a relaxed welcome and introducing the crew by name during boarding and the FO from the netherlands.
Routing is via FRA at 35000 feet maximum.
Legroom is ok here at 25F, well, with 3, wait 6 seats for me, no complaints at all.
The load is 70%, mostly biz travellers and the actual magazine. Something for the man with the hat?

DUS operates an somewhat strange system with bus arrivals. The first stop is for the real DUS arrivals, the second for connecting flights. But well, there is no one else beside me here after the first stop and it seems the driver fixed his duties. I´am really on a connecting flight, trust me!.
